Guardox™ AE is an acerola Acerola juice powder rich in naturally occurring vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and phenolic compounds (anthocyanins) which effectively reduces oxidative rancidity in beverages, culinary and meat applications.

REGULATIONS
Guardox™ AE may be labelled as acerola flavoring, which complies with REGULATION (EC) No. 1334/2008 on flavourings and certain food ingredients with flavouring properties for use in and on foods. 
 

 

Guardox™ AE is an Acerola juice powder rich in naturally occurring vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and phenolic compounds (anthocyanins) are capable of radical scavenging and have reducing power of peroxide values. It is a clean label alternative used to prevent oxidative rancidity and color change in several applications.
 
FRESH GROUND MEAT
0.3g/kg of Guardox™ AE was able to keep pinkish red color in fresh ground meat.
 
HABENERO HOT SAUCE
0.3g/kg of Guardox™ AE was able to achieve a shelf-life of 15 months working as antibrowning agent, whereas the control changed color after 3 months.
